Appointment Guidelines
Everything you need to know to prepare for a wonderful experience at Amanda Hyde Skin.
SECTION 1: BOOKING & SCHEDULING
How to Book
All appointments are booked online through our Vagaro platform. New clients must prepay a 50% deposit (applied to your service, fully refundable with 48 hours notice).
Please review our cancellation policy before booking.
SECTION 2: ARRIVAL
When to Arrive

First-time clients: Please arrive 5 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork

Returning clients: Please arrive on time for your appointment

Running late? If you're going to be more than 5 minutes late, please notify us via text.
Feel free to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy our tea and coffee station before your service!
SECTION 3: PARKING
Easy Access
Free street parking is available directly in front of the studio.
SECTION 4: WHAT TO WEAR
Dress Comfortably
Please wear comfortable clothing. For facial treatments, we recommend avoiding turtlenecks or clothing that may restrict access to your neck and décolletage area.
SECTION 5: SKIN PREPARATION
Prepping Your Skin

Arrive with a clean face and no makeup — This allows us to properly assess your skin and begin your treatment immediately

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 48-72 hours before your appointment

Avoid exfoliating or using retinol products 2-3 days before chemical peels or certain treatments

Important: If you have a sunburn or excessive sun damage, we may not be able to safely perform certain treatments. Please contact us before your appointment if you've had recent sun exposure so we can determine the best plan for your skin.

SECTION 6: CHILDREN
Childcare Arrangements
Please arrange childcare — we're unable to accommodate children under 12 at appointments.
SECTION 7: ILLNESS POLICY
If you're feeling unwell, please do not come to your appointment. Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule — we will not charge a cancellation fee for illness-related cancellations when you communicate promptly.
If you arrive at your appointment exhibiting signs of illness, we will need to reschedule to protect Amanda's health and the health of other clients. Fees may apply if we weren't notified in advance.
This protects both you and Amanda's ability to serve other clients.
